In 1988 a prototype point of sale system was set up in an estate agent in Royston. Access was via a Digithurst designed capacitance through the glass keyboard. The system gathered user response data over the course of 3 months. Eventually all of Digithurst’s point of sales technologies were combined and marketed as the Showfax terminal which was used as a basis for various systems marketed by our distributors.
